When you sign in using Google or Apple, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your unique user identifier

b. Usage Data

We collect anonymous data to understand how the app is used, including:

  • Screens visited
  • Features used (e.g., photo overlay, comparison slider)
  • Frequency of app usage

This data is collected via Firebase Analytics and is not linked to your personal identity.

c. Local Data (Photos and Notes)

  • All photos and notes you add to VisLog are stored locally on your device.
  • Unless you explicitly enable Cloud Backup, your content does not leave your device.

2. Cloud Backup (Premium Feature)

If you enable Cloud Backup:

  • Your photos and notes will be backed up to your personal iCloud (iOS).
  • We do not store your files on our servers.
  • You can disable this at any time via the settings screen.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate users securely
  • Provide access to premium features (e.g., backup)
  • Improve the user experience via anonymized analytics
  • Send local reminders, if enabled

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and update your profile info (name, email)
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Control whether analytics or backups are enabled
  • Revoke app permissions at any time

5. Data Security

  • We use industry-standard encryption and secure APIs (Firebase, iCloud) to protect your data.
  • Local data is sandboxed and protected by your device's operating system.

6. Children's Privacy

VisLog is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
