Welcome to VisLog ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VisLog mobile application and any related services provided by us.

By downloading, installing, or using VisLog, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the service.

1. Description of Service

VisLog is a visual progress tracking application that allows users to:

  • Create progress tracking journeys with photos
  • Compare photos using overlay tools and sliders
  • Generate timelapse videos and GIFs
  • Set reminders for consistent tracking
  • Backup data to personal cloud storage (premium feature)

2. User Accounts and Registration

a. Account Creation

  • You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

b. Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage from unauthorized use

3. Subscription and Billing

a. Free Trial

  • New users receive a 30-day free trial of premium features
  • The trial begins when you first complete account setup
  • You may cancel at any time during the trial period

b. Paid Subscriptions

  • After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store
  • Prices are set in the App Store and may vary by region
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

c. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies
  • No refunds for partial subscription periods

4. User Content and Data

a. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload
  • All content is stored locally on your device by default
  • Cloud backup is optional and uses your personal iCloud storage

b. Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Violates any laws or regulations
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
  • Violates the privacy or rights of others

c. Content Removal

  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms
  • You may delete your content at any time
  • Account deletion will remove all associated data

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Circumvent any security or authentication measures
  • Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code

6. Intellectual Property

  • VisLog and all related trademarks are our property
  • The app design, code, and functionality are protected by copyright
  • You receive a limited license to use the app for personal purposes

b. Your Rights

  • You retain all rights to your uploaded photos and content
  • We do not claim ownership of your personal content
  • You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the service

7. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Your privacy is important to us - see our Privacy Policy
  • We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service
  • Analytics data is anonymized and not linked to your identity
  • You control what data is backed up to cloud storage

8. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high service availability
  • Occasional downtime may occur for maintenance or updates
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service access
  • Local features work offline; cloud features require internet

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

a. Service Disclaimer

  • The service is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes
  • Use of the service is at your own risk

b. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
  • We are not liable for lost data, profits, or indirect damages

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time
  • Deleting the app will remove all local data

  • We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice
  • Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately

11. Changes to Terms

  • Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date
  • Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms
  • Material changes will be communicated via the app

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is registered
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
